Years ago, on an ordinary afternoon, while we were trying to find my place in a hectic country that didn't seem made for me, we stopped and observed our surroundings calmly, with calm and intention. We left our minds blank and allowed ourselves to be surprised by the beauty of nature. That's when we saw some tiny, brave swallows tracing invisible lines between the horizon and infinity. They flew together in a perfect dance, as if the universe itself were guiding them.

 

In that instant, we understood that this wasn't just a flight. It was an act of resistance and hope, a promise that, even if the road is long and the winds are adverse, there is always a place we can reach if we support each other.

 

Like them, we are immigrants. We left behind the warmth of our homeland, the friendly smiles of our people, and the hugs that taste like home.
